Old European Cut Diamond Ring, 1.63 Carats (Sold)

This dazzling early Art Deco period ring is set with a 1.63 carat K color, VS2 clarity old European cut diamond. Its wider facets and open culet catch the light creating a soft rainbow effect throughout the gemstone and capture the glamour of a bygone era.

Old European and old mine-cut diamonds were cut by hand, adding a special uniqueness and charm to each gemstone.

Set in a delicate platinum mounting, a feminine bow-shaped design holds the diamond in its place. Inlaid with bullet-cut diamonds and a sprinkling of accent diamonds, no detail was forgotten in the making of this lovely antique ring.
